Two years after, they acquired Maui Tacos which also launched Smoothie Island in 1998. They have continued to grow and now they also offer catering for meetings and other occasions with just a 24 hour notice. They even have a separate menu for special occasions.

You must also have a net worth of $250,000 and $50,000 total liquid assets.
If in case you don’t meet this, they will allow a partnership as long as 50% of your store will be owned by your partner.
Once you pass their requirements, you will need a total investment of about $143,850 – $395,800.
The Franchise fee is $18,000 and has an on-going royalty fee of 6%.
This is for a renewable 10 year term agreement.
If you are a veteran, you may get a 20% discount on the initial franchise fee.
Included in the initial franchise fee is training for two people but you may add people for an additional cost.
You will be supported by their team in finding the right location and building your store from the ground up. You will also be assisted in marketing and your grand opening. There’s also currently an advertising fee of 4% of gross sales that goes to National Marketing.
